Mohadesa Shojaee - Animation

The work presented showcases background design and painting. The first page features two layouts inspired by Cartoon Saloon's visual style, with a focus on composition, colour, and environmental storytelling. The second page features a character turnaround of the same character at two stages of her life—once as a human and once
as a ghost. When alive, she worked as an archivist in Newman House and played a heroic role during the 1916 Rising, helping others. In the present day, she remains as a ghost within the building. This project allowed me to explore both stylistic background work and character design within a cohesive narrative context.
