Dean Arkesteijn - Animation

An aspiring storyboard/layout artist obsessed with all things-camera and storytelling. My adoration and constant nights of watching TV & Film greatly add to my ever-growing understanding of what the camera is doing, how it is doing it, and what the audience feels just from what we allow them to see. I love Kubrick's simplicity, I adore Lynch’s surrealism, and I take multitudes of inspiration from Impressionist artists throughout the history of art into both layout and storytelling, and love layering brush strokes over each other that bring a painting, or story, together. I love the messy and gritty art direction that is coming up today, and I’d absolutely love to be a part of it.
